Got taken by their pop up more than three years ago and when I wised up they still call me periodically. Their telephone number can be blocked but they just come back with another. WARNING they change their name and business address from time to time and after an interval they start phoning again. Lately they have grown aggressive to the point of threatening. Now doing business as Wilmington Riverfront Services (866) 232-**** Claim to be operating out of Wilmington, DL at 760 Justison St. - which is the address of the Hyatt Hotel and Banquet Center.

3 times we paid for so-called computer updates 3 times we were scammed..my computer kept going down and freezing up so i called them thinking they would solve the problem..the computer worked fine for a few months then--wham! froze up and in 2 situations they held it hostage and there was a phone number on the page displayed..i told them i was calling the police..then..it unfroze. the last time i dealt with them..they kept asking for additional payment in gift cards!! i called my credit card company and closed down the account number and got a new card number! we lost well over $500.00 to $700.00 from these rotten imbeciles!! calling me now and i had to report them to the FCC..FBI AND THE FTC! doubt i will get my money back since all this was from 2016..but i'll try!

Break Logic a scam

Paid $550 in three separate payments for their supposed internet protection and my hard drive crashed anyway. Now they way they want back on my machine. Not answering their calls. Worst decision I made was to buy their services from the get go. Never again. Will report them to the BBB and any other consumer protection agency. They are persistent and will not stop calling you. They also go by the name of Bulls Eye Solutions. If you get the pop up that says they are a Microsoft Administrator, use Defender and Malwarebytes to clean them off of your computer.

Almost got scammed by them too. In Aug 17, my Wife paid for the "stopzilla" program, and let a guy do stuff to her computer.

Break Logic wanted us to send $300 via UPS to Canada. I looked up the company and started reading all of the scam reports.

They kept calling for a while, but they have started calling again May of 18. I just hang up.How do we shut them down?

Break Logic is a scamm

They left message for me stating that someone was trying to break into my computer and they are from Microsoft. They had me bring up my computer and go on the net. They asked me to start typing in a web address, but before I did, I asked them how do I know I am talking to someone from Microsoft? The idiots gave me the name of their company and I was able to see that they were reported to BBB and got bad reviews from customers, so I hung up. If you ever get a call from them from Dennis Lyold, 844-234-**** then you know he is a scam.

Windows 10 upgrade in august

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
As i remember from then alone with the upgrade it also included lifetime security protection which cost me 300 + dollars to be paid by check to a company in Canada an affiliate of theirs cant remember the name. Then 10/13/17 I returned a call to Break Logic they had been trying to contact me over voice mail about a security issue. Then they tried to convince me that my e mails ect had been compromized ,drivers shut down ect and the upgrade i got didnt inclued secuity protection. So i fell for it. They spent 90 minutes cleaning it all up and said i could post date the check for 10/19/17 to be piked up by FedEx 10/16/17 its 10/14/17 now and ive been bothered by this so i finally googled Break Logic and found this depressing news. The check is for 420 dollars to Global Essentials. Im starting to believ Break Logic did this to my computer themselves in order to extact more money out of me.What should i do. Im not releasing the check to FedEx

Scam artists

Who is Break Logic and where can I find the bastards? They get on your computer when you are dumb enough to answer one of those popups. They prey on the computer illiterate. Every "fix" they give requires buying another product from them - which fails and requires another fix. When you get sick of them and get their crap off your computer they will harass you on the phone periodically for years. They ignore demands to cease calling you. They have harassed me for years after I ceased doing business with them. One address they've listed is: Break Logic 555 Grove St Ste 100, Herndon, VA 2017 (70*) 483-****

$300 worth of useless computer work

My 90 year old father received a phone call from Break Logic. They told they were working with Microsoft and they could tell that he had a problem with his computer. They talked him into $300 worth of software. They installed a remote control application into his computer and then loaded some software to "clean-up" his computer. Of course the software they loaded did nothing. (We recently had to pay $175 to a legit outfit to debug his computer). It also gave them control over his computer. They insisted on payment using a digital check (no credit card protection). He was able to stop payment on his check. Now they are constantly calling him. Their last voicemail told him to pay or he'd "be in trouble." Don't do business with this bunch. They work right on the edge of being a scam.

RTP OFF

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
(AFTER ALREADY PAYING THEM BEFORE) ON 3-28-17 I PAID THEM AN ADDITIONAL $350.00 (BECAUSE WHEN I CALLED HAVING COMPUTER PROBLEMS HE SAID I HAD TO PAY THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT TO REPAIR MY COMPUTER BECAUSE WHAT I PAID BEFORE DIDN'T COVER MY PROBLEM). SO HE CONVINCED ME THAT HE COULD FIX MY COMPUTER. WELL, HE DID NOT!!! THEN HE TOLD ME TO CALL DELL, WHICH I DID. TURNS OUT THE MOTHER BOARD WAS TOAST! SO I CALLED BREAK LOGIC AND ASKED OR A REFUND SINCE THEY COULDN'T REPAIR MY COMPUTER AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD RECEIVE A CHECK WITHIN 30 DAYS. I WAITED LONGER THAN THAT AND CALLED TO SEE WHERE MY REFUND WAS AND THEN WAS PASSED TO THE MANAGER AND HE TOLD ME I WOULD NOT RECEIVE A REFUND, AFTER ALL HIS MUMBO JUMBO I WAS ACTUALLY FREAKING OUT. DON'T USE THIS RIP OFF COMPANY, IT'S ALL A LOAD ***.

THEY RIPPED ME OFF

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I HAD CALLED THEM BECAUSE MY COMPUTER WAS GETTING MAJOR ERRORS. I ALEADY HAD PAID THEM BEFORE FOR A PROTECTION PLAN AND WHEN I CALLED THEY SAID I HAD TO PAY THEM ANOTHER $350.00. BUT THEY COULDN'T FIX IT, SO I CALLED MICROSOFT AS SUGGESTED AND THEY TRIED TO FIX AND COULD NOT! I ENDED UP CALLING DELL AND IT HAD TO BE RETURNED TO THEM FOR REPAIR COSTING ME EVEN MORE MONEY! I WANTED A REFUND AS THEY DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS A 100% GUARANTEE (IT ALSO SAYS THAT ON THERE WEBSITE) AND IT WAS WITHIN THE DAYS ALLOWED TO CANCEL. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD RECEIVE MY REFUND WITHIN 7 TO 10 DAYS. WELL I DID NOT AND I JUST CALLED THEM AND THEY TOLD ME THEY CANNOT REFUND MY MONEY! THIS IS THE WORST RIP OFF I EVER HAD DEALING WITH COMPUTERS. DO NOT CALL THEM!!!!!!

Scammed by BreakLogic

Received a non-removable window on center of my computer screen warned of impending shut-down of my computer if I tried to close it. Instead I was to call 180*-920-**** and problem would be fixed. I called, thinking it was Microsoft and the on-line assistant transferred me to a technician. I asked about Microsoft affiliation and was led through a roundabout explanation of how they were affiliated and that all techs were Microsoft trained. Foolishly I agreed and even agreed to the $99.99 "two year protection" plan with one month free service for help. I realized after I signed the "contract" that something seemed wrong. I was call by tech twice to check on how things were going. I have to say I was confused by what I saw on my screen, and didn't know what to say that would make sense. Lap top screen was full of icons of myriad items in the computer without a way to incorporate them to a comprehensible group. One icon led me to a different site altogether, and another, and another. Charge had gone through my credit union without any way for it to be refunded to me (via a fraud complaint) on February 2, 2017.

Bullied and Extorted

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The first time I worked with Break Logic the person on the other end of the phone talked so fast and in such poor english, for the most part I could not understand him. He was just rude and obnoxious. The last time (and the last time for sure) I could not get a video to run, the technician did some hocus-pocus and emailed me the video and it ran. When he told me it would be 100.00, I told him I thought I had purchased a year's worth of service the last time I spoke to them (I paid 299.00--a rip-off). He then went into a tirade about the tools, how the tools are not cheap. When I repeated to him that I would not pay he said, ~~~ (I could not understand him) and removed the video from my computer. Later I learned that I just needed to run the video with Internet Explorer not Chrome, which I use. Two days later the bells and sirens went off on my computer telling me I had to call them right-away as my computer was under threat. I just closed the box and that was that. I now need to figure out how to get them out of my computer. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. THEY ARE THIEVES, BULLIES, LIARS AND EXTORTIONISTS.

Break Logic...What a bunch of scammers!!!!!!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
first they wanted to get into my computer. I said no. Then they said, but you can take us out at any time. "There are upgrades that we want to give to you." I said NO. But you will be in complete control. I said... Fine. So I did it. Then the download,etc...the nice man was gone and the son of a snake came on the line. there was a small window pop up for a split second, another small window. I caught the word "password",he typed 4 **** , the the boxes were gone. I asked what password he had put in. he said it was an administrative p/w. then he pulled up a report that was supposed to have me begging for their help. I called him a liar. They had a list of nonsense that had happened in the last 5 days. for the last 10 days my comp has been off. Not just sleeping. O-F-F. I've been in the hospital!!! I closed the communication box and shut them down. told him goodbye. Ten minutes later He called me back "private caller". He said, You were right. I changed your PIN. You are locked out of your computer. Let me make the repairs to your computer and I'll give the PIN back." He's an ***. I used the password to get back in and reset the PIN. but I'm taking this to M/soft.

Break Logic - Windows 10 Pro Software Upgrade Review from Longueuil, Quebec

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
After upgraging my PC with Windows 10 (the free upgrading), I receieved a message pretending that the licence number of my Windows version was obsolete or corrupted. After calling the number appearing with the error message prompted, the clerc who received my call told me that it was not a free version but rather a trial version. Result, he told me that I'd need to pay another 199$ to receive a valid product key. When I mentionned him that this was fraudulous, At no time in the migration process was it writen this'd be a trial nor that it would requisit à further investment. He replied that if I don't purchase the right key, it would be preferable to throw my PC into the trashes. So did the supervisor. It is a shame to try to fraud clients like that.

Break Logic will Break YOU

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Just ran into these technical scam artists today. Hit one of their pop-ups (not sure how actually) that sounded a loud alarm on my computer and put up a notice saying my machine had been hacked. What was impressive is that they had done a reverse IP lookup and made it look like the message was coming from my ISP. *** me (I've only had 3-4 hours of sleep for the last week) I actually called the '888' number listed. For the next 40 minutes I was subjected to an Eastern European sounding 'technician' babbling techno jargon and flashing up various Windows tools and free technical web sites telling me how screwed I was. At the end he tried to sell me $300 of technical support and free Microsoft software at which point I literally pulled the plug on my router and crashed my own network to get him off it. I then spent the next 4 hours trying to make sure these guys hadn't hacked my computer and stolen my identity. As it is I'm going to have to wipe my computer, and have it rebuilt. This is a NASTY 'COMPANY' - DO NOT do business with them.
